Our flags are made from heirloom-quality wool blend felt. Our felt supplier has been producing various blends of wool felt for over 100 years and supplies many national pennant-makers!

Our felt varies in thickness depending on color, lot and even time of year due to changes in the wool used to produce it, but it is generally around 2mm thick. Our felt does not contain artificial stiffeners or acrylic, so it is softer and more flexible than cheaper felt or pennants bought at big box or craft stores.

We're proud to make our pennants 100% by hand in our Salt Lake City studio. We hand cut every flag, sew each piece of trim and place and fuse every letter, all by hand. Due to the human nature of this production process, small imperfections are expected and add to the charm of a truly handmade piece.

Our Regular size pennant is 10x33" and our Mini size pennant is 8x26". These dimensions include trim. The triangular base of the Regular size pennant is 27" while the Mini base is 20". Dimensions are approximate. Please note that these dimensions are new as of May 2026 due to adjustments in trim sizes. To match an older Fellow pennant please contact us!

Absolutely! We send proofs for all personalized orders about a week after purchase. This will be sent to the email address you provided with your order. This is the time to make changes to colors, personalizations, or make small tweaks to the layout. If we don't hear back from you within a week of our initial proof, we'll send it out as is!

Bulk discounts start at quantities of 10 of the same personalization. For more information, check out our bulk order page. Unfortunately, due to the custom, handmade nature of our flags, we are unable to provide bulk discounts on orders with different personalizations.

The best place to check is our Color Gallery! It's a library of color inspiration from previous orders featuring real-life photos of almost any colorway you can think of. You can also request color edits during the proofing process to test them out on your exact design. The Color Gallery is a new addition! More examples are always being added.

Personalized orders take approximately 10 business days to ship. Quick-ship standard pennants take approximately three business days unless posted otherwise.

We accept exchanges of standard, non-personalized pennants only. All personalized items are strictly final sale, but if you have questions or concerns about your order please contact us!

We usually recommend heavy duty Command strips! Test the strip on a small section before use to avoid damage. For flags being hung above cribs, we always recommend nails that completely pierce the felt or a frame securely attached to the wall to prevent falling.

We recommend using an online framing company like Framebridge or Frame It Easy so you can get a frame that will fit perfectly! We usually like to add about 2-3 inches around each side.

We recommend ironing the back side of your flag on a wool setting. Use steam to get any stubborn wrinkles out, but be careful not to get the flag wet to avoid damage.
